Thanks for such an awesome project! Been teaching a python course and moved to using jupyter notebooks and this has really helped a ton.
I did run into the assertion error linked below for a handful of students.
Made a fork and fixed it, been pip git+ installing for our class, but thought I'd send a PR back your way for consideration.
